Crash Victims Info

When ever an Airline crashes they always struggle to find the black boxes.?

Most of the time in an aircrash, the tail section always survives, so i wonder why they dont mount the boxes in that section, as it is always the first to be recovered..

1. to my knowledge, the black box records what the pilots say, amongst other things. i dont think it would be able to hear the pilots if its in the tail..............
2. they are in the tail section of the plane. and for the first person, theres a wonderful invention called microphones, so that when you speak into them your voice can be carried electronically for quite a distance.
