CIA Torture Apologists and Dick Cheney Claim Through Torture They Foiled Plot to Crash Airline in L.A.? True?

The claim is that torturing and water-boarding of Abu Zubaidah and others revealed the plane hijacking plot. Should the CIA reveal more details about this alleged hijacking plot? Was it a hoax? After the methods were revealed this week, I hardly think the CIA methods of getting info. from terrorists compares to beheading and other methods(which ARE torture btw) used by our enemies. You just try to tell me where I'm wrong.. But of course, since you are one of those who think America is automatically in the wrong....

6. I believe their claims are false. Torture is known to be unreliable. Pretty sure this is a hoax. Furthermore it's illegal and immoral regardless of any supposed "effectiveness". 7. I suppose it could be true.. but then again torture will bring out a lot of stuff.. some true.. some just said because it has been planted in the person who is being tortured head. Torture is never right.. we do not want it done to our people.. we yell and scream about how others are barbarians to do it.. and then turns out for 8 years we had barbarians in the Whit house ourselves. Now we have gone from extremely brutal treatment to some kind of I love everyone system.. Obama will be just as dangerous with his being nice to our enemies as Bush was being horrible. Is there no happy medium?
8. Let them prove it or not, torture is illegal and is a criminal act subject to world wide juristiction. But Cheney and the CIA spooks are not likely to be forthcoming with the truth no matter what. We need to prosecute the Bush administration officials that sanctioned these behaviors. Otherwise we are a rouge nation that says the ends justifiy the means. I am thinking its a smoke screen. 9. Sadly I don't believe a word out of the mouth of Dick Cheney. I would need proof and no one has any so it will just be a war of words. I read some of the answers and I must say that my view on torture differs from others. Sean Hannity calls it enhanced interrogation which I find to be quite an understatement. Beheading is not torture it is death. Water boarding is torture. I was always bewildered as to why John McCain never came out against this more since he was a victim himself.
