Crash Victims Info

I hate to fly, but have to. The last major U.S. air crash was late 2001. Is it safer, or are we just luckier?

I cannot find another time in our history where we have gone this long without having a major airline crash. The last one was in 2001, just after the terrorist attacks on September 11.

  1. We have the safest system in the world. But, accidents do happen.
  2. Statistically speaking, air travel is much safer than travelling in your automobile. If every fatality in every auto accident were publicized like fatalities in air crashes, no one would ever get into a car again. Check out these links for additional info.
  3. Totally safe. There are more traffic accidents than air crashes. I fly all the time.
  4. Statistically, you have a much greater chance of being decapitated, maimed, mutilated, or killed just driving your car to the grocery store. Use a shrink to reduce your ridiculous paranoia, and you'll be safer in the air.
