Rather than waiting until they get to their destination, the girlfriend decides to give her boyfriend a treat, she slips out of her seatbelt, leans over and begins to unzip his fly. He cant believe his luck, but doesn’t complain and she gets on with the dirty deed. As she gets going the boyfriend relaxes into his seat, and goes a bit faster, this in turn speeds up his girlfriends motions. As the guys happy time arrives, he loses control of the car, and crashes. The girlfriend is thrown thru the windscreen and the man is pinned against the steering wheel. A while later, the man is being cut free from the car, he’s covered in blood, and moaning and groaning. As they are putting him on the stretcher, a fireman approaches and says to the guy “look mate, you’ve had a bad crash, but you got lucky, your girlfriend was thrown thru the window, bounced 50 yards along the road, possibly breaking every bone in her body, and she isn’t making half the f*cking noise you are!”. I was recently in a car accident, i was sat in front seat with no belt on and colided head on with another car at about 20 mph, 10 mph and i think i'd be dead right now, u dont need to point out the obvious that i should wear a seatbelt as ive learnt that now. anyway, when we crashed i had time to embrace my arms against the glove compartment, but i did not think about my legs, when we hit my legs jolted ford and my shin smashed into the glove compartment. However, when i examined it it was just VERY swollen and bruised but a patch around 4cm long was just purple, almost like a vein exploded or something, do you know what it is? i cannot be bothered to go to the doctors aswell as i know they'll only ask me to go on crutches which im doing already thanks

Wojtas pleaded no contest to the original charge, drunken driving causing serious injury, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Sentencing guidelines indicated a sentence range of only zero to 14 months, and probation officials recommended 18 months probation. "He should have gotten five years," said Sengstock's mother, Linda Sengstock, outside the courtroom. "He needs to have time to think about what he did. What he (her son) has been subjected to is beyond comprehension." She claimed that if the victim had been Wojtas' age and the defendant her son's age, 30, the penalty would be stricter. Joseph Sengstock Jr. of Sterling Heights will require around-the-clock care for the rest of his life. He remains bedridden with a closed head injury and multiple fractures in the head and face. Two arteries were torn, causing a stroke, and he is blind in one eye and partially blind in the second eye. "He's handicapped for life," Linda Sengstock said, adding she has been told the cost of his lifetime care will be $5 million to $7 million. The family has already filed a lawsuit against Wojtas in Macomb circuit court. Biernat, who also sentenced Wojtas to the longest probation term possible, five years, noted that Wojtas had no prior criminal record and a lifetime of helping charitable organizations. The judge noted he served more than 20 years as a "decorated member of the Detroit Police Department" and an officer at 37th District Court in Warren. Biernat received many letters from police officers, lawyers and judges attesting to Wojtas' good character. Still, the judge said, "A crime can destroy a lifetime of dedicated service and charity. This is something Mr. Wojtas will have to live with the rest of his life. "The court is mindful that the family is in ... agony over this sad and tragic event. Given the gravity of the offense, given the high level of alcohol involved, the court believes a 5-year probation term is appropriate." In asking the judge to exceed the probation department's recommendation, assistant Macomb prosecutor Jamie Wittenberg pointed out that the charge is too broad because a serious injury can range from "losing a finger" to the near-fatal injuries suffered by Sengstock. The victim's father, Joseph Sengstock Sr., said Wojtas should suffer greater consequences because of his former position as a police and court officer in which he saw firsthand the potentially dire consequences of drinking and driving. "He should have more respect for the law serving as a policeman," he said. Sengstock's car was pushed into a semi-truck. Sengstock had finished working that day and was on his way to visit his grandfather, Anthony Bugliesi of Center Line, his family said. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods and most recently worked making robots for Utica Enterprises in Shelby Township. He also worked part-time at a group of bowling alleys. He had lived on his own for several years but had moved back to his parents' home to be with his sister, Christina, for her senior year in high school. About two-dozen supporters of the Sengstocks attended the hearing. Wojtas spoke at the hearing but was inaudible to court spectators. His sister spoke and apologized to the family. "I wish to express my sorrow," she said. "Our family and friends continue to pray for this man." Wojtas' attorney, Albert Markowski, and a probation officer said that Wojtas has displayed sincere remorse about the incident. Markowski said Wojtas did not "publicly express his sorrow" due to legal reasons. One woman is unconscious and unable to get out of the car, the other woman drags her from the car to safety-fearing that the car would burst into flames at any moment. The injured woman ends up being paralyzed and now is suing the woman who pulled her from the car-a former friend of hers. Hitmen Cause Crash’ Richard Palmer – Daily Express October 16, 2007 Two hitmen on a motorcycle shone a powerful flashlight at Princess Diana’s car before it crashed, her inquest was told yesterday. Francois Levistre was driving in front of the Mercedes when it crashed, killing Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed. He told the jury the bike stopped and the pillion passenger walked over to the wrecked car, inspected it then signalled like a referee when a boxer is out for the count. The passenger, dressed like the rider all in black, then signalled that they needed to move quickly out of the Alma tunnel in Paris, the inquest in London heard. Asked why he had not left his car to help those in the crash, Mr Levistre answered: “Fear.” Asked what he had been afraid of, he replied: “Just like I said, I thought they were hitmen.” Mr Levistre, giving his evidence via video link from Paris, told how he saw the “major white flash” from the motorbike in his rear view mirror as the bike overtook Diana’s car. The Mercedes began immediately careering across the road before crashing into the concrete pillars in the central reservation of the dual carriageway in the tunnel, he said. He told the jury in court 73 at the Royal Courts of Justice it was like the bright flash from a speed camera. “The light was as if you are caught by police radar,” he said. “The light was very powerful. It came into my car. The light was not directed towards me. It was directed towards the car which was behind.” The inquest, which is expected to hear evidence for six months before deciding how Diana and Dodi died, heard that after the crash the self-employed businessman had performed tests with different kinds of lights in the Alma tunnel. And then the car had no lights any more. My NHS dentist fitted 2 oversized bridges 1st cracked/lost 2nd broke teeth below. Distraught where do I turn? After 1st bridge refitted due gum recession, was told to wait a month to affect oversize it only lasted 2 weeks. Asked for implant referral was sent dental hospital on 6 month waiting list were they don’t offer implants and they said referral was for a plate. I had two ill fitting plates made at my dentist due huge loss. I went my dentist again as an abscess remarked on 9 months earlier swelled and caused great pain. I was given the strongest antibiotic made as over years of treatment antibiotics were issued at nearly every occasion. My 2nd bridge was loose and the temporary to final replacement put so much pressure on lower bridge another abscess was created. Shards of the removed bridge were found between my front teeth in the evening. The final fitting was postponed as the bridge was not correct to my dentist’s standards but it was fitted anyway as a temporary to be removed in two weeks. This one fitted well and left the promised correction to other work open. The final fitting was delayed as my dentist had a holiday but it still took an hour and a half of extreme effort to remove, the back of my head was numb for another hour. The bridge was as before oversized and eliminated possible correction to previous work. My panic at its destruction had me call at least six times over many months and despite the previous bridges fitting this one could not be reduced further. A plate was created to even the pressure and be worn while sleeping but when fitting was reduced too much and ineffective. I believed the lower bridge broken as it was loose and becoming worse but I was told not. A last emergency appointment of 3 weeks had me attend the dental clinic as an emergency. I had been waiting since February for an appointment as requested of my dentist but a phone call suggested neither 2 said attempts had been received. I had asked the receptionist if I could attend the hospital without referral she said no. The emergency’ option must have slipped her mind as had the hospital not offering implants though she did state a year later that I couldn’t afford it as reason for subterfuge. The correct implant referral was made after 13 months of my request, the price quadrupled. Decay to the area of the 2nd abscess and pressure to the bridge had broken it. The hospital does implants for car crash victims and extreme cases as a special case I can only hope my luck will change but I am in pain the bridge very loose as is are another three teeth and I need a root canal. My dentist capped every tooth over and over till they fell out. Then the rules changed payment was no longer on work done but on time taken like an hour and a halt to remove a temporary bridge. Bad cop behavior.? My sister gor into a terrible accident and her car was completely wrecked because she got hit by a drunk driver, and she also broke her leg. After she was hit, she was helped out of the car by a man that stopped to help her and she sat on the side road while the police arrived. there were 4 cars involved in the accident so the cops were dealing with everyone and my sister had to sit there because she couldn't walk so she didn't see what was happening. Anyway, the police took out her personal belongings from the car including her purse. She had just taken out money from the bank and had an envelope with $600 in it. A different cop came by later and gave her this envelope (which was originally in her purse) and when my sister looked at it, it only had $400 in it. Should my sister act upon this, and if she does, is it likely that she will be believed, do cops just take advantage of crash victims who are in dire situations because they know that at the time, $200 isn't an important issue?

My NHS dentist fitted 2 oversized bridges 1st cracked/lost 2nd broke teeth below. Distraught where do I turn? After 1st bridge refitted due gum recession, was told to wait a month to affect oversize it only lasted 2 weeks. Asked for implant referral was sent dental hospital on 6 month waiting list were they don’t offer implants and they said referral was for a plate. I had two ill fitting plates made at my dentist due huge loss. I went my dentist again as an abscess remarked on 9 months earlier swelled and caused great pain. I was given the strongest antibiotic made as over years of treatment antibiotics were issued at nearly every occasion. My 2nd bridge was loose and the temporary to final replacement put so much pressure on lower bridge another abscess was created. Shards of the removed bridge were found between my front teeth in the evening. The final fitting was postponed as the bridge was not correct to my dentist’s standards but it was fitted anyway as a temporary to be removed in two weeks. This one fitted well and left the promised correction to other work open. The final fitting was delayed as my dentist had a holiday but it still took an hour and a half of extreme effort to remove, the back of my head was numb for another hour. The bridge was as before oversized and eliminated possible correction to previous work. My panic at its destruction had me call at least six times over many months and despite the previous bridges fitting this one could not be reduced further. A plate was created to even the pressure and be worn while sleeping but when fitting was reduced too much and ineffective. I believed the lower bridge broken as it was loose and becoming worse but I was told not. A last emergency appointment of 3 weeks had me attend the dental clinic as an emergency. I had been waiting since February for an appointment as requested of my dentist but a phone call suggested neither 2 said attempts had been received. I had asked the receptionist if I could attend the hospital without referral she said no. The emergency’ option must have slipped her mind as had the hospital not offering implants though she did state a year later that I couldn’t afford it as reason for subterfuge. The correct implant referral was made after 13 months of my request, the price quadrupled. Decay to the area of the 2nd abscess and pressure to the bridge had broken it. The hospital does implants for car crash victims and extreme cases as a special case I can only hope my luck will change but I am in pain the bridge very loose as is are another three teeth and I need a root canal. My dentist capped every tooth over and over till they fell out. Then the rules changed payment was no longer on work done but on time taken like an hour and a halt to remove a temporary bridge. I have tried to change my dentist but as the shape of my mouth has been lost nobody wanted to know.

My question is one that centers more on personal accountability. The man on the ground will face charges that are directly related to his case. However, the personal choices involved with the line of work the unfortunate crash victims were not needful. They were optional. As options, rather than needs, the risk was by choice, and hence their death were the chance they took with that choice. Personal accountability says that at least one of the four on board should have been alert enough to prevent this catastrophe. Fortunately, no other lives were lost. I want to interject here that I don't want to come across as unsympathetic to the loss of these lives. I should have reconsidered my approach to the whole situation before addressing this topic. To the family, coworkers and loved ones of these tragic events, I want to offer my sincerest regrets and heartfelt sense of loss on your behalf. There is little that can be said when things like this occur, and I just want to say that their is hope in crisis, strength in community, and healing at the right time.
